I'm sick. It's not fun. I got to see my family for Thanksgiving. It was soooo wonderful. I love them, and I just cannot ever get enough. Cam got to experience his first Thanksgiving Holiday with me and my family.....the whole shabang.....wait til Christmas . Ha! He was exhausted for the Holiday. He's not used to much hooplah and tradition. Oh boy oh boy...he's in for a treat. Our tree is up, we have had some lighting difficulties and so it's not completely decorated. The rest of our home is though. I LOVE CHRISTMAS. Last year at this time, Amber and I were playing Christmas music, making cookies, soaking up the season, and trying to light our Christmas tree smelling candle w/o getting yelled at. LoL....so maybe we got caught once or twice. The four of us girls (amber, myself, chels, and brit) were putting up our tree, exchanging gifts, and counting down the days until break. Who would've thought a year from then my life would be so different. I was given a task to do yesterday at work. I did it, and I did it well. I was given another opportunity to do the same task today. I love it when people put faith in you even if you're not sure you have that much faith in yourself. How good it is to prove yourself to yourself and prove yourself again to someone else. I LOVE MY LIFE. I am working full time at Sallie Mae, spending time w/ my parents, spending time w/ the boy, making new friends my age and getting more involved w/ a group at church.......life is just so good. Lord, thank you for ALL of your blessings. Every one of them. |
